Raphaƫl Mazoyer

Raphaël Mazoyer has been developing online services on both client and agency sides. Since joining the European headquarters of Japanese sportswear manufacturer ASICS in 2008 as Digital Communications Manager, he's been hard at work making the ASICS and Onitsuka Tiger digital presence web-native.

Previous employers include Montreal-based digital branding agency CloudRaker, and Weathernews, a Japan-based global company where he managed European mobile weather forecast services. After his Master of Arts, in 2002, Raphaël co-founded Splandigo, the first Dutch agency to obtain web accessibility certification for two projects.

Raphaël started building digital media projects in 1994, creating interactive spaces and objects on Xerox Parc's LambdaMOO text-based, object-oriented, multiplayer virtual environment. He's been hooked to low-graphics, high-interactivity platforms ever since.

Matthew Atkatz

Matthew represents the first generation of creative leaders to rise through the ranks in the age of integrated advertising. A digital native, his strength comes from his ability to balance the purity of creative ideas with a deep working knowledge of the interactive space.

A results-oriented leader, Matthew is focused on creating innovative channel-agnostic work that produces tangible results for his clients.

At Riot Matthew leads the creative group to deliver Constant Communications for clients. This innovative model employs planned, anticipated and reactive digital content that engages the consumer in the channels of their choice to create a two-way personalized dialogue.

Before joining Riot, Matthew led the interactive group for Saatchi & Saatchi New York. At Saatchi he created award-winning work for JCPenney, Avaya, Ameriprise Financial, General Mills, P&G, Wendy's, Miller High Life, and I Love NY New York State.

Prior to working at Saatchi & Saatchi, Matthew served as Worldwide Creative Director for Motorola at FCBi. While there he developed and managed digital creative for the mobile devices division, for North America, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. Matthew's role was informed by his prior international experience living in Beijing and working in the Asia-Pacific region at Ogilvy for Audi, Motorola, and IBM.

His work has been recognized at all the major award shows, including Cannes Lions, Clios, One Show, the Webbies, the Echo Awards, New York Festivals, London International Awards, and the Effies. Communication Arts magazine has featured his integrated work for a broad range of clients.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. He has lectured on Design for Interactivity at numerous conferences and panels.

Mr. Atkatz was born and raised in New York City. He’s an avid motorcycle rider, amateur mechanic and kite flyer with dreams of one day running his own subsistence farm. Matthew currently lives in Amsterdam with his wife Ann-Marie and their two sons Skyler and Phoenix.
